Turning Page Live

I know you will agree with me that Turning Page is the song of Breaking Dawn... It fits perfectly just like Flightless Bird did it for me in Twilight:) Here is a new Live performance of the song by Sleeping at Last, enjoy!

TURNING PAGE

Written by: Ryan O'Neal (Sleeping At Last)

i've waited a hundred years. but i'd wait a million more for you. nothing prepared me for what the privilege of being yours would do.

if i had only felt the warmth within your touch, if i had only seen how you smile when you blush, or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough, i would have known what i was living for all along. what i've been living for.

your love is my turning page, where only the sweetest words remain. every kiss is a cursive line, every touch is a redefining phrase.

i surrender who i've been for who you are, for nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart. if i had only felt how it feels to be yours, well, i would have known what I've been living for all along. what i've been living for.

though we're tethered to the story we must tell, when i saw you, well, i knew we'd tell it well. with a whisper, we will tame the vicious seas. like a feather bringing kingdoms to their knees.

This is very beautiful and just like you said it is The One for BD. Had no idea it was just one person performing. Incredible! Love the song and it is a treat to see it, read the lyrics and listen to good quality live music.

I love this song. I'm very glad it made it to the soundtrack, because it has amazingly fitting lyrics for the story.
I've been listening to it for a while now and it brings many warm feelings to my skin.
Is it your favorite too, Apotamkin?

Take care!

yes woobi and sissy i love it and i'm so happy the guy did us that version which i believe is even better than a music video that turns irrelevant, I sometimes feel that Rob could also sing it there are points were i feel it could be Rob but Rob's voice is deeper and more guttural and powerful at points he softens it for Edward but releases it when angry:) sorry I imposed Rob on the conversation :D

This guy composed this song specifically for Twilight which is why it fits so well. He wanted to create a song that would tell Edward's side of the love story. And he could not have done a better job of it, in my opinion. It is so beautiful and perfect for the story.

completely agree with you Jan I'm so touched by the honesty of his performance I keep coming to watch it and can't find something worthy of topping it:)

I'm a twilight fan, my four teenage boys are not particularly interested, but what song is the first they put on in the car? - this one! It touches us in places we are not aware of when we are young and not tainted with some of darker sides of the world around us.....Love this song.
